Open a book from the library, or double-click it in File Explorer, and it opens on the page you were reading. ## Two pages, like a book Pages sit side by side in a cloth-bound book and turn like paper. Click a page, or drag its corner and the page curls after your pointer, folding over to show the next one. The arrow keys and Page Up/Page Down turn pages too, and you can choose a slide or no animation in Settings. The edges grow and shrink as you read, and dragging along the right edge jumps through the book. Prefer a single column? Switch to one page in Settings. ## Your library Every book you open or add is kept in your library, with its cover and how far you have read. Press Ctrl+L and it opens over the book you are reading. Search by title or author, sort by title, author, recently added or recently read, and add several books at once, or drop them on it. Click a book to read it, and remove one you have finished with. ## Chapters The chapter list comes from the book's own contents. Parts and their chapters are nested the way the book sets them, the chapter you are in is highlighted, and each one shows how far into the book it starts. Click one to go there. ## Pages and type Choose Paper, Sepia or Night pages. Read in Georgia, Segoe UI, OpenDyslexic or the book's own typeface, from 12 to 30 px, with justified or ragged-right text. ## Highlights and bookmarks Select text to highlight it, and click a highlight to clear it. Bookmark a page with the star and jump back to it from the chapter list. Both are kept with the book. ## How long is left Under the book you see the chapter, how far through you are and about how much reading time is left. The estimate starts at 250 words a minute and learns from how fast you turn the pages. Opens DRM-free EPUB files.
