## About PPTX Locker

PPTX Locker gets a presentation ready to share. It takes out what was only meant for you, then locks the deck if you want it locked.

## What travels with a deck

A .pptx file carries more than its slides. Your speaker notes go with it. So do comments and replies, the hidden slides you skipped in the meeting, and your name and company. PPTX Locker finds them all and counts them before you choose.

## See what leaves

The first four slides are shown side by side. Notes that will be taken out are struck through. Comment badges are crossed out. Hidden slides wear a ribbon. Click a slide and a line under it says exactly what is taken out of it and what stays.

## Clean and lock in one go

Tick what to take out: speaker notes, comments and replies, hidden slides, and the author, company and edit details. Turn on a password to open and the clean copy is encrypted too. PowerPoint then asks for the password before showing a single slide.

## Your original is never touched

The clean deck is saved as a copy with "(clean)" in its name. Your notes and comments are still in the original. In Settings you can also mark the clean copy as final, so it opens read-only.

## Lock or unlock a whole folder

The original job still works. Drop decks or a folder, type a password, and click Lock or Unlock. Each file shows its own status as the batch runs. A copy is saved beside each original, or turn that off to replace the originals.

## Private

Everything happens on your PC. There is no account, and nothing is uploaded. Decks you locked with an earlier version still open and unlock as before.
