Live Weather Radar tells you when it gets to you. ## Rain in 14 minutes The app reads live NOAA radar around your home every few minutes, works out which way the rain is moving and how fast, and carries it forward an hour. That gives you a countdown to the minute rain arrives, how long it will last, and a bar for every 5 minutes of the next hour. ## A widget for your desktop The radar lives in a round instrument on your desktop. When rain is near it shows the radar around you; when it is not, it turns to the forecast. Pick one face if you prefer, choose light, dark or frosted, set the size, and keep it on the desktop or above your windows. ## The full radar Open the radar window for the whole picture. Play back the last 2 hours of radar and the hour ahead, see the direction and speed the storms are moving, and see when rain reaches each town around you. Save the loop as a GIF, switch on satellite clouds or live wind, and search for any town to center the radar on it. ## Warnings that cover you National Weather Service warnings, watches and advisories are drawn on the map with the area they cover. When a warning covers your location, you get a notification, and the tray icon turns red. You also hear when hail is near and when the rain is about to stop. ## The forecast Current conditions from the nearest weather station, the next 24 hours and a 7-day forecast, in °F and mph or °C and km/h. A morning briefing arrives at the time you choose. ## Heads-up before it rains Choose how much warning you want, from 5 to 30 minutes, and Live Weather Radar lets you know before rain reaches you. ## Where it works Radar covers the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and Guam.
