Click Counter
Click Counter keeps a running total of every click your mouse makes — left, right, middle, back, forward and wheel — across every application and every game. Open the panel from the tray icon to see the lifetime number, today's, your busiest day, and how far through its rated life the left switch has worn.
Every button, every wheel notch, for the life of the mouse.

About Click Counter
Mouse switches are rated in clicks. Twenty million is a common figure, and nothing on your PC tells you how close you are to it. Click Counter does.
It counts everything
Every click, in every application and every game, whether the window is focused or not. Left, right and middle, the back and forward buttons on a five-button mouse, and every notch of the wheel. Not a tally you press yourself — the real ones, as you make them.
A panel, not a mystery
Click the tray icon and a panel opens with the numbers in it: the lifetime total, the split across the buttons, today's clicks and the busiest day you have ever had. The previous version had no window at all, which is why some people bought it and thought it had failed to install.
Switch wear
Tell it what your mouse is rated for — ten, twenty, fifty or eighty million clicks — and it shows how far through that the left button has gone. It is the button that wears out, and this is the number that says when.
It does not slow your games
Counting happens in memory. The count reaches the disk every few seconds and when you close the app, not on every click. The old version saved a settings file on every single click, and its reviews say what that felt like.
Where it lives
In the notification area, with no taskbar button. Left-click for the panel, right-click for the menu. Both are drawn to match Windows 11 and follow your light or dark theme.
If you are upgrading, your existing count comes with you.
Everything happens on this PC. No account is needed, nothing is uploaded unless you turn on backup, and it works with no connection at all. It counts that a click happened and which button it was — never where you clicked or what you clicked on.
