01About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how EvlarSoft LLC (“EvlarSoft,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, applications, and related services (the “Products”), what those technologies do, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally. By using the Products, or by accepting cookies where we ask for your consent, you agree to the use of cookies as described here.
02What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an application. They let a service recognize your device, remember information about your visit, and function correctly. “Similar technologies” include local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits (SDKs), and device identifiers that perform comparable functions. Throughout this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies.”
Cookies may be first-party (set by EvlarSoft) or third-party (set by a provider we work with, such as an analytics or infrastructure service). They may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
03Why we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- keep you signed in and keep your session secure;
- remember your settings and preferences;
- protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- measure and analyze how the Products are used so we can improve them;
- balance load and deliver content reliably; and
- where enabled, measure marketing campaigns and limit repetitive advertising.
04Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Set by | Typical retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session integrity, security, and load balancing. The Products can't work without these. | First-party | Session — 12 months |
| Functional | Remembers your preferences, such as language, region, and interface settings. | First-party | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics & performance | Helps us understand usage and improve reliability and performance in aggregate. | First & third-party | Up to 24 months |
| Advertising & targeting | Used only where enabled, to measure campaigns and limit repetitive ads. We minimize use of these. | Third-party | Up to 13 months |
05Your consent
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the Products cannot function without them. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting functional, analytics, or advertising cookies, and you can accept, reject, or customize non-essential categories. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the controls described below; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
06How to control cookies
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Our controls — where we present a cookie banner or preference center, you can accept or reject non-essential categories there.
- Browser settings— most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before they are set. Check your browser's help pages for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Products to stop working.
- Device and app settings — mobile operating systems provide controls to limit ad tracking and reset advertising identifiers.
- Opt-out tools — some analytics and advertising providers offer their own opt-out mechanisms; consult their policies for details.
07Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the third-party providers we use to operate and measure the Products, such as analytics, error-monitoring, and content-delivery services. Those providers process the information under their own privacy policies, and we list them on our Subprocessorspage. EvlarSoft does not control third-party cookies, and we encourage you to review those providers' policies.
08Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as the law requires. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. If you have questions about our use of cookies, please reach us through the contact page.
