01The short version
This Refund Policy explains how EvlarSoft LLC (“EvlarSoft,” “we,” “us”) handles fees, cancellations, and refunds across all of our products — the Verve family (APIVerve, VerveKit, VerveSheets, VerveContext), DigestYourFinances, and our applications (the “Products”). It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
All fees paid to EvlarSoft are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or proration for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused capacity, except where we choose to grant one at our sole discretion or where a refund is required by applicable law. By purchasing or using a paid Product, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
02No refunds
Because our Products are digital services delivered and consumed immediately, and because much of what we sell is metered or subscription-based, we operate on a no-refund basis. Without limitation, we do not provide refunds for:
- subscription fees already charged for the current or any prior billing period;
- partial or unused portions of a billing period after cancellation or downgrade;
- usage-based or metered charges for requests or resources already consumed;
- fees for add-ons, overages, or one-time charges;
- periods during which you did not use, or stopped using, a Product but remained subscribed;
- changes in your circumstances, needs, or business requirements;
- dissatisfaction with a Product that is functioning materially as described, including the accuracy or completeness of data or Output (see our Disclaimer).
03Discretionary exceptions
We may, entirely at our sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis, choose to issue a refund, credit, or other accommodation — for example, in the event of a confirmed duplicate charge, a proven billing error on our side, or a prolonged failure of a Product attributable to us. Any such accommodation:
- is granted at our discretion and is not an admission of any obligation;
- applies only to the specific instance and does not create a right to, or expectation of, any future refund or credit;
- does not waive this policy or any provision of our Terms of Service; and
- may be provided as a service credit rather than a monetary refund.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction; where such laws grant you a right to a refund, we honor it to the extent required.
04Subscriptions, renewals, and cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate until cancelled, as described in our Terms of Service. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until then, and no refund is provided for the remainder of that period. It is your responsibility to cancel before a renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next period.
05Free trials and beta
Where we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period, and you may cancel before it ends to avoid being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial converts, the applicable fees will be charged and are non-refundable under this policy. Beta, preview, and experimental features are provided free or as part of a plan and carry no refund entitlement.
06Purchases through app stores
If you purchased or subscribed to one of our applications through a third-party marketplace — such as the Microsoft Store, the Chrome Web Store, or Google Play — that marketplace's own refund policy and process govern your purchase, and any refund must be requested from and is granted by that marketplace, not by EvlarSoft. We do not control and cannot issue refunds for transactions processed by a third-party store.
07Disputes and chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us first so we can review it — most issues are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and access to the Products, and you agree to reimburse us for reasonable costs incurred in responding to an unwarranted dispute.
08How to make a request
To request a discretionary refund or to raise a billing question, reach us through the contact page with your account details and a description of the issue. We review each request in good faith, but — except where required by law — approval remains at our sole discretion.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Your continued use of the Products after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
