01Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets the rules for using EvlarSoft LLC's websites, applications, APIs, and related services (the “Products”). It exists to keep the platform safe, lawful, reliable, and fair for everyone who depends on it. This AUP applies to all Products — the Verve family (APIVerve, VerveKit, VerveSheets, VerveContext), DigestYourFinances, and our applications — and to anyone who accesses them. It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service; capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given there. Using the Products means agreeing to this AUP.
02The short version
Use the Products for their intended purpose. Respect the law, respect other people, respect their data and their rights, and respect the shared infrastructure the Products run on. Do not try to break, overload, probe, or game the system, and do not use the Products to help anyone else do those things. The sections below spell this out; they are illustrative, not exhaustive, and we may act on conduct that violates the spirit of this AUP even if it is not specifically listed.
03Unlawful and infringing use
You must not use the Products to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, sanction, or court order;
- infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other right of any person;
- engage in fraud, deception, false advertising, pyramid schemes, or other deceptive practices;
- facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or the sale of illegal or regulated goods or services;
- infringe export-control or sanctions laws, or make the Products available to prohibited or restricted parties.
04Harmful, abusive, and objectionable content
You must not use the Products to create, upload, transmit, or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors, or is otherwise child sexual abuse material — which we report to the authorities;
- invades another person's privacy or discloses their personal data without a lawful basis;
- is obscene, or that a reasonable person would consider harmful or objectionable;
- impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity.
05Security, integrity, and interference
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Products, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Products;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, without our prior written authorization;
- introduce viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious or harmful code;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Products — including through denial-of-service or distributed-denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or deliberately overwhelming rate limits;
- decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code, models, or trade secrets from any Product, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
06Automated access, scraping, and data harvesting
You may access the Products through automated means only as expressly permitted by the applicable Documentation and within your plan's rate limits and quotas. You must not use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the Products in a way that exceeds those limits, evades metering or billing, degrades the experience for others, or collects data in bulk without authorization. You must not harvest or collect personal information about other users, or send unsolicited communications (spam), phishing, or malware.
07Reselling, quotas, and fair use
Metered Products publish rate limits, quotas, and usage entitlements for each plan. These protect shared infrastructure and keep the Products reliable for everyone. You must not:
- circumvent, disable, or attempt to exceed any usage limit, quota, or entitlement;
- share credentials or use multiple accounts to obtain benefits beyond your plan;
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute raw Product access or Output in a manner the Product is not sold for, or repackage a Product as a materially competing service.
If you need higher limits or a commercial arrangement, upgrade your plan or talk to us rather than working around the limit. We may throttle or restrict traffic that threatens the stability of the Products.
08High-risk and prohibited applications
The Products are not designed or authorized for use in situations where failure or inaccuracy could lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical, environmental, or financial harm — including the operation of critical infrastructure, life-support or medical systems, aircraft or vehicle navigation, or emergency services. You must not use Output as a substitute for professional advice; see our Disclaimer. You are responsible for independently validating Output before relying on it in any consequential context.
09Responsible security disclosure
We welcome good-faith security research. If you discover a vulnerability in a Product, please report it to us privately through the contact page, give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate it before any public disclosure, and do not access, modify, or delete data that is not yours or degrade the Products in the course of your research. Research conducted in accordance with this section and applicable law is authorized, and we will not pursue action against it.
10Enforcement and consequences
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may take any action we consider appropriate, including issuing a warning; throttling, suspending, restricting, or terminating access; removing or disabling offending content; and reporting activity to law enforcement or other authorities. We may act with notice where practical, and immediately and without notice where necessary to protect the Products, our users, or third parties, or to comply with law. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent termination without refund. Our decision not to act in a particular instance does not waive our right to act later.
11Reporting violations
If you become aware of any use of a Product that violates this AUP, please report it to us through the contact page. Reports help us keep the platform safe and reliable for everyone. We may update this AUP from time to time; the effective date above reflects the current version.
