Encrypted File Sender
Package files into an AES-256 zip anyone can open with 7-Zip or WinRAR, with a password you send separately. Or lock files for yourself as .cypher files with a password hint. Old files still open.
The file goes by email. The password goes another way.

About Encrypted File Sender
Encrypted File Sender gets private files to someone else safely, and keeps your own files locked.
Send to someone
Drop files or folders on the tag and name the package. Encrypted File Sender makes one .zip locked with AES-256. The other person opens it with 7-Zip or WinRAR, so they need no extra app.
The password goes another way
Send the file by email or USB, and the password by text or a call. Someone who gets the email still does not have the password. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no link to follow.
A password you can read out
Click Suggest for four random words and a number, such as maple-orbit-42-lantern-cobalt. It is long and hard to guess, and easy to say on the phone.
Lock for me
The job Encrypted File Sender has always done still works. Lock files and folders into .cypher files with a password and a hint. Drop a .cypher file back in and its hint shows before you type the password. Files are locked with Argon2id and XChaCha20.
Your old files still open
.cypher files made by earlier versions open as before. So do .encrypt files from File and Folder Encryptor.
Your originals are safe
Every new file is saved beside the original. Nothing is overwritten or deleted.
Private
Everything happens on your PC. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. A copied password clears from the clipboard on its own and stays out of clipboard history.
