Lorem Ipsum Maker sets placeholder text on a page, ready to copy.
Set it
Choose words, sentences or paragraphs and how many, up to 9,999. The text is set on a printed page with a drop cap, and a steel line gauge beside it counts the lines. The header tells you what was set, and the footer counts words, paragraphs and lines.
Fit it
Designing a card, an ad or a post? Fit the text to the space instead. Pick a tweet (280 characters), a Bluesky post (300), a meta description (160), a text message (160), a profile bio (150), a video title (100), a search ad description (90) or headline (30), an app store subtitle (30), or a blog card (500). The text lands on the limit and ends on a full sentence, and the header shows how close it came: "498 of 500 characters".
Seven languages
Classic Lorem Ipsum, English, Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish. Chinese and Japanese are written without spaces, and a text message in either fits 70 characters, the way a phone sends it. Lorem Ipsum opens with "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet", unless you switch that off.
