SiteGrabber
Type an address, pick a folder, and SiteGrabber saves the site into it: the pages it reaches, with their pictures, styles, scripts and fonts. Saved pages are relinked to the copies beside them, so you can open index.html and read. You choose how far to follow links and how many pages to take, and every page and file appears in the table as it is saved.
Type an address, pick a folder, and the site saves itself page by page.

About SiteGrabber
Some sites are worth keeping. A manual, a recipe collection, a course, a reference you rely on. SiteGrabber saves one into an ordinary folder on your PC.
Type it, pick a folder, Start
There are three things on screen: the address of the site, the folder to save into, and a button. From there it works through the site on its own, and every page and file lands in the table as it is saved.
What it takes
Each page it reaches is fetched with the pictures, stylesheets, scripts and fonts that page asks for, and what those stylesheets ask for in turn. The site's own shape becomes the folder's shape: a page with no file name of its own is saved as index.html inside its own folder, so /about/ becomes about\index.html. Two pages of a list stay two files, because ?page=2 is kept in the saved name.
You set the ceiling
Follow links the front page only, one, two or three links in, or take the whole site. Cap the run at 25, 100, 500 or 2,000 pages, or lift the cap. Feeds and sitemaps are skipped, because they list the whole site and are not worth reading as pages. Stop the grab whenever you like; whatever is already saved stays on disk.
Read it afterwards
With relinking on, every address on a saved page is rewritten to the copy next to it, so you can open index.html in any browser and move around the folder with no connection. An address on a different site is written out in full instead, so a font, a script or an image hosted elsewhere still loads when you are online rather than pointing at nothing.
You can see everything
The table lists every page and file: what kind it is, its name, where it landed under your folder, how many links in it was found, how big it is, and whether it saved. When one does not, the reason is in plain words. Sort by any column, and filter the table while the grab is still running.
Everything happens on this PC, apart from fetching the site itself. There is no account, and nothing you save is uploaded anywhere.
